Kurt Arnold filed suit on behalf of a pipeline worker that was injured in the Bay of Campeche off of Mexico. A valve failed causing him severe injury. He continued to work for eighteen months and then left his line of work in part due to his injury. The case was set for a jury trial in Harris County. Ultimately, the case settled confidentially for $700,000 three days before trial.
