Pappas Sues BP, Other Companies Over Economic Damage To Seafood Business From Oil Spill Houston-based seafood restaurant chain Pappas Restaurants Inc. has sued BP and other companies over the April 20 Deepwater Horizon explosion. The lawsuit, which is being handled by the Houston law firm of Arnold & Itkin LLP, alleges the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico has caused irrevocable damage to the restaurant chain's business by impairing its ability to make fresh seafood catches. The lawsuit was filed on May 13 in Galveston County Court No. 2
